SHORT TERM HOUSING FOR HURRICANE FIONA EVACUEES

Hurricane Fiona ravaged through the island of Puerto Rico forcing many to evacuate their homes while others had to be rescued from the rising waters. We want to give those displaced a place to stay that feels more like home while their long-term relief plans are put in place.

POSADAS PUERTO RICO is building a bridge between short term rental hosts and those in need. We're calling on you to GIVE to SHELTER victims of the hurricane.

By giving to this initiative you are helping both the victims of the hurricane return to a state of normalcy while they rebuild their lives, and the hosts and staff of these properties to stay afloat during a time where tourism will be non-existent. That's a lot of people to help.

How it works: 100% of the donations collected will be used toward housing evacuees of the hurricane. We've negotiated reduced rates with the property owners, and information on how to book these rooms is being shared with the shelters and agencies collecting information on the victims. As these rates are not for leisure guests they cannot be shared publicly, and will only be available to book on a case by case basis as referred by the shelters where these evacuees currently are.
