Shooting stars children’s hospice (Guildford)

Hello,

We’re Charlie and Molly (aged 7 and 4)

Our mum and dad asked us to sort through our old toys before christmas, they have been selling them for us on marketplace, we have managed to raise over £100.

When we were asked what we wanted to spend the money on, we said “we want to buy some toys for the poorly children”.

Mum has contacted shooting stars, the local children’s hospice, and they have said that they would welcome the toys for the children they care for and have even sent us some ideas of what to get them. We plan to make a trip over to Smyths toys before Christmas.

We wanted to set up a go fund me page to see if we could raise even more money for toys, so no child is left out.

Please help us raise as much as possible, donations big or small will be gratefully received.

UPDATE

We chose Shooting Stars Hospice to donate the gifts to as they are local to us, we thought it would be lovely for the children to deliver the presents they chose there themselves.

Because the children wanted to choose the gifts themselves, we will be withdrawing the funds ourselves to cover the costs of the presents purchased.

On Sunday 15th December we went to Smyths Toys Superstore and purchased lots and lots of lovely presents for the children at Shooting Stars Hospice, lots of which were on the wishlist the hospice kindly sent us.

On Wednesday 18th December, after school, we delivered all the gifts to the hospice in Guildford and left them with the kind reception ladies and nurses to arrange delivery to the children for Christmas.
