Extending Opportunity To All Youth

The opportunity to train and play sports should be available to everyone. DCC believes sports provides an avenue for kids to better themselves, learn to achieve under pressure as a member of a team, and to celebrate victories as a group. This year, we aim to sponsor 100 kids for a day of basketball training at San Diego’s Monarch School where they will learn skills in ball handling, agility, and coordination. That’s in addition to building self esteem, teamwork, and sense of pride. We look forward to having your children train with a passionate and experienced group of coaches at Monarch School, a school whose mission is to nurture resilience in unhoused youth and their families.
