Hello my name is Kris & I’m a Recovered drugs addict & have been for 16 years, i work within the drug & alcohol services & have been helping the homeless for years with other beautiful people who really go above & beyond to help the still struggling homeless people, a pair of new trainers/boots & socks cost usually about £20 , so WE approach a person and ask them if they would like a new pair of footwear & dry clean new socks as well as underwear, ask them their size & preference & go usually to primark & buy them for them…WE also give them food / blankets/ tents / & other clothing items & toiletries then try & signpost them to various shelters & places of help & support

many donation will be put to very good use and WE tell them where the money comes from & that there are people who do care, they are so appreciative it’s very upsetting to witness a person so thankful for a cheap pair of trainers & socks , it breaks our hearts every time.
