This fund supports the work of the organization Agape: Hope for Kibera to help poor children and families in the Kibera slum in Nairobi and in rural areas in Kisumu and Siaya counties in western Kenya. Led by our extended family in Kibera -- Collins Wasunga and his fiancé Carol Adhiambo, and our friend Alphonse Mbara -- in July we will visit all three areas and help Agape as it provides shoes, clothing, food, sanitary napkins, shelter, and other necessities to some of the poorest children and families in the world. This will be our third visit to the rural areas to meet children and families and distribute supplies. All donations will go directly to purchasing supplies of goods that we will distribute through rural schools in the three locations.
