Shoebox Project supporting Women Rising

Hi, my name is Olivia and I'm a freshman at The Academy of the Holy Angels. This Mother's Day I am running a Shoebox Project Drive for Women Rising in Jersey City. Shoebox Project is a 501c organization that collects and distributes gift-filled shoeboxes for women living in shelters. Each wrapped shoebox contains little luxuries to help brighten the day for a woman in need.

Women Rising has been helping women and their families for over 117 years. The women they assist are in need of jobs, safety from domestic violence, homelessness and assist those seeking a safe life for their children. They help women in need by providing counseling, crisis intervention, job placement, safe housing and shelter for survivors of domestic violence and so many more services.

My goal is to raise enough money to fill 50 shoeboxes!
