In Loving Memory of Roshan Cherian

With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Roshan Cherian, who departed for his heavenly home on Monday, January 27, 2025, at the age of 49.

Roshan was a devoted husband to Mercy Joseph Pulthakidiyil and a loving father to their cherished children, Raymond Tonio Roshan, Rayan Jose Roshan, Raelyne Elsa Roshan, and Rachel Maria Roshan. His life was defined by love, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to his family.

His Battle with Cancer

Roshan was diagnosed with an aggressive form of esophageal cancer, which initially affected his airway and lungs. Despite undergoing chemotherapy, his body did not fully respond, and tumors continued to grow. As treatments stopped working, the cancer eventually spread, becoming metastatic. In the end, doctors diagnosed him with terminal cancer, and within two weeks, he passed away. His entire battle lasted close to two months, a period marked by immense courage and faith.

A Family in Need

When Roshan was diagnosed, Mercy took a long pause from work to care for him and their children. She remained by his side throughout his illness, ensuring he received the care and comfort he needed. With a considerably low income during this time and the overwhelming costs of a the household and now funeral expenses, the family is facing significant financial hardship.

As Mercy and her children try to rebuild their lives without Roshan, we humbly ask for your kindness and generosity to support them during this heartbreaking time. This fundraising initiative will help cover immediate financial needs, funeral expenses, and provide future support for the children. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference.

⚰️ Burial: Notre-Dame des Neiges Cemetery at 1:15 p.m.
