Merry Christmas Shirehampton!..
You may have noticed that ‘we’ve gone early’ this year, the Christmas lights are on, shining bright, and we have that fuzzy feeling of another years good deed complete..
Its been 24hrs of having the lights switched on and already we’ve been inundated with the good folk of Shire asking how they can make a donation.
So here it is, any donation made here will go directly into the Christmas Lights bank account to cover ongoing maintenance, and continued improvement.
We’ve kept our promise from 2021, our main aim was to continue the festoon lighting throughout the whole village, mission accomplished. Additional lighting now flows from the zebra crossing besides ‘Break’ charity shop all the way round to ‘Smile Solutions’ dentist. Also, additional trees on the bus stop side of The Green have also received a festive wrap.
Definitely worth the ‘de tour’ or ‘long route home’
