My name is Catherine, and I am the founder of Patches for Peds. Through this project, I create patch quilts for sick children and first responders who are battling illness or cancer. Each quilt is made with patches donated from people all around the world, coming together to let every recipient know that they do not fight alone. These quilts are more than just blankets—they are a symbol of hope, love, and the strength of a caring community.

Every year, I send out between 200 and 300 quilts to those who need comfort the most. While I am grateful for the generosity of patch donors, covering the shipping expenses can be challenging.
