Surprise!!

Almost two months ago, we received a call that completely changed our world. Our adoption agency told us that Miles’ birth mother is pregnant and wants us to adopt her baby. After much prayer and reflection, our answer was clear—YES.

Having a sibling for Miles has always been a dream of ours, though we never imagined it would happen this way—nor that we’d be given the incredible gift of providing him with a biological sibling.

Adoption is a beautiful yet complex journey. Our hearts are overflowing with joy at the thought of bringing another baby home, but we also carry the deep awareness of the grief involved. This brave mother is making an unimaginable sacrifice, entrusting us with the honor of raising not just one, but now two of her precious children.

So, what’s next? We have a short window of time to raise a significant amount of funds—about $63,000—to cover the home study, adoption fees, legal fees, and travel. If you’ve walked alongside us before, you know adoption in the U.S. is both costly and frustrating, but we fully trust that God will make a way.

We’re planning fundraisers, applying for grants, and launching a new shirt design soon (we still love seeing everyone wearing their Miles shirts!). Most of all, we ask for your prayers—
