About Shigawake Music Festival

For 18 years, the Shigawake Music Festival has been a vibrant celebration of music, culture, and community in the heart of the Baie-des-Chaleurs region. Born from the century-old tradition of the Shigawake Fair, our festival has grown into a beloved annual event that brings together thousands of people to share in the joy of live music, local talent, and the warmth of community.

At Shigawake, 130+ musicians take the stage, families create lasting memories, and neighbors connect through music, food, and tradition. We're a non-profit event run entirely by volunteers who believe in the power of music to unite us all. Our mission is simple: to celebrate local talent, support artists, and create a space where everyone feels at home.

Our goal is to raise $3,000 by August 12 to cover essential costs like venues, artist fees, and everything that makes the festival special.
