Puerto Rico is ... my heart ... my soul ... my land!
It is impossible to put into words how my heart mourns for my native island and loved ones due to the destruction and aftermath of #hurricanemaria.
I have been in limited contact with family, friends and neighbors who thankfully are safe, but still suffering. I have booked a trip for October 21 to deliver much needed essentials to those in need in the neighborhood and community around Santurce where I grew up. These areas are still dealing with extensive flood and wind damage and still without electricity!
I am asking for your support to deliver basic essentials to help family and neighbors with essentials such as batteries, can foods, medicine, flashlights, clothes and other supplies. Costs range from $10-$30 per item and I plan to stretch every dollar to it's max to help as many as possible.
No donation is too small and every donation is huge!
