Hi, my name is Miki and I’m 12 years old. I want to tell you about someone really special to me—my aunt, SheShe.
SheShe is the kindest person I know. She gives the best hugs, listens when you need her, and makes everyone feel loved.
But right now, SheShe’s hurting. She has something called multiple myeloma. It’s a blood cancer, and it makes her body ache all the time. Even walking is hard now. She tries to be brave and not let anyone see how much pain she’s in, but I can tell that she is struggling.
SheShe can’t work anymore, and that’s made things really hard. But still, she smiles. She laughs with me. She tells me everything’s going to be okay—even when I know it’s not easy for her to say that.
SheShe’s my hero. And I just want her to feel the love she gives to everyone else.
I’m helping raise money for the Princess Margaret Hospital because they’ve been so important to us—but I also really want to help SheShe directly, too.
Thank you for being her guardian angel.
Love,
Miki
