Hello Everyone,


Thank you so much for visiting this page and for your interest in our family. It has been hard to put “pen to paper” for this and I truly don’t know the right words to say to best explain our situation to you. To make a very long story much shorter, we are adopting! Calan and I have longed to be parents and unfortunately it has been quite the journey for us already. We very much believe that God has control of our lives and we do feel peace in the process because of Him. We started our journey to becoming a family in June 2019. Many of you have followed along and been in constant prayer for us over the last couple of years. For those who don’t know us personally, or are just hearing about this, I have been on a very involved and complicated medical journey trying to conceive. This is not something that I have tried to hide, and I am definitely not ashamed because of this. However, I have not been very public about it, simply because it is very hard to explain, especially when I do not have all of the answers. We have not given up on naturally bearing a child, but we are placing that in Gods hands. Our families have been great support systems for us and we are so thankful for them. We have prayed hard, made difficult decisions, cried often, and grown stronger despite the pain that this has brought. While talking about our family building plans together, Calan and I have always brought up adoption. It is something we have always wanted to do and bringing a child into our home in this way has always been on our hearts. We fully have faith in God’s will and know that if we are meant to adopt that God will provide. We are excited to announce that we have found the Agency that we will be using to partner with us. This decision is scary but so exciting. We are needing to raise close to $40,000 in order to adopt and this is a terrifying number. We are also putting this dream in the hands of God and praying that his will be done in this. If you feel led to donate monetarily, it would be greatly appreciated. We feel like this child is worth every penny of this amount and more. We are willing to do whatever is necessary to provide this sweet baby with a loving, Christ-centered home.  We will be announcing various fundraisers over the next few weeks, and are open to new ideas for fundraising as well.
