Hey! We‘re happy to announce the return of the She Rises Empowerment Conference 2025 — and we need your support to make it happen.

This project began last year, during my voluntary year in Accra, Ghana working with DUNK grassroots.

Christine — my peer volunteer and friend — and I came together with a shared vision: to create a safe, empowering space for girls in Accra to learn, grow, and be seen. What started as a small initiative is now growing into something even greater.

This year, we‘re working to bring an expanded version of She Rises to life — more girls, deeper impact, and stronger support systems — but we need your help to make it happen.

From August 15th to 17th, 200 girls aged 10–19 from underserved communities in Accra will gather at the Serallios Event Centre in Osu for three impactful days of learning, connection, and growth.

This year’s theme — “Mind, Body & Soul” — reflects our mission to empower the whole girl.

Through hands-on workshops, mentoring circles, and peer-led sessions, these girls will explore vital topics such as:

• Mental health and emotional well-being

• Body autonomy and physical wellness

• Sexual reproduction & menstrual health

• Confidence-building and self-expression

• Career dreaming and future planning

For many of these girls, She Rises will be their first experience in a space fully dedicated to them — their voices, their power, and their dreams.

In total we‘re raising 4100€ to cover the costs of transportation, meals, venue, materials, goodie bags and facilitation for the girls. In addition, I’m personally fundraising for my flight & visa, so I can travel to Ghana and help co-lead this experience on the ground with Christine and DUNK on my side.
