Shepherdsville Little Free Library

Hello! Here is a quick update. Someone has been kind enough to donate their Little Free Library, and we are arranging to pick it up this up coming Monday. The donations we have collected will go to buying the post and stocking it with books and dog treats. I have never done anything like this before so this has been an extremely cool way to start the year. Thank you all so much! We are so grateful, and excited to get this put up in our neighborhood!

Hello! I am fundraising for a new Little Free Library for our area. I am Challenging myself to raise $250, and will contribute $100 of my own funds to buying a nice weatherproof box from the organization’s website. The box I am interested in will cost about $300, and I intend to also include a dog treat jar. Any extra donations will go to stocking the library with books.

The closest one to us is in Louisville, and I would love to start one for Shepherdsville. There are a lot of kids in our neighborhood, and I think it would be a really great opportunity for our kids to start appreciating contributing to their community and encourage their love of books.
