Shelly & Luis' Adoption Journey

Please help Shelly and Luis adopt a child!

Shelly and Luis have dreamed of raising a family together since their marriage in 2018, and have been trying to start a family ever since. Unfortunately, even after an expensive surgery and many doctors' visits, Shelly hasn't been able to become a mother the natural way.  Now, Shelly and Luis are starting their journey to adopt! This can be a long, complicated and emotional ride, with far more legal and financial roadblocks than one may first imagine. But we know it will also be a deeply fulfilling journey. They have been saving money and working hard to make this dream come true, but this process can cost an average of $40,000 - $50,000. If you want to hear more about their journey, Shelly has been writing some autobiographical essays about their struggle to become parents and will be happy to share them with you.
