It is with profound sadness that we share the heartbreaking passing of our beloved sister, Sheila Jepkorir Chebii, who tragically passed away in Sydney, Australia on 17th May 2026.

Sheila had only recently arrived in Australia on 5th April 2026 to pursue her further studies and build a brighter future. Born on 20th October 2000 in Kimumu, Eldoret, Kenya, she was the cherished daughter of Samwuel Chebii and Linah Chebii and a beloved family member and friend to many both in Kenya and Australia.

Her sudden passing has left the family devastated emotionally and financially, especially as they navigate this painful loss far away from home. The family is currently awaiting official processes and the Coroner’s report regarding the circumstances surrounding her passing.

As a community, we are coming together to support the family during this incredibly difficult time. Funds raised will assist with:

funeral and memorial arrangements,

family support and welfare,

legal and administrative processes,

and any related expenses arising during this difficult period.
