Hi! Meet Derek & Sheelah Hicks.  They have been married 5 years.  Derek works for Cleveland Utilities, & Sheelah is an ICU nurse at Tennova.  They have 2 rescue dogs, Hank & Roscoe who they spoil & are crazy about, & they are Tar Heel basketball fanatics.  For 4 years they have been trying to have a baby.  When they were unable to get pregnant on their own, they sought help from 1 reproductive endocrinologist & then another.  Sheelah & Derek have each endured countless tests.  Sheelah has taken 4 rounds of infertility medications, & even had a corrective surgery last year. They have had 3 unsuccessful IUIs, & have suffered a miscarriage.  As you can imagine, this has taken a toll on this family in every way possible.  

Their next step is IVF.  This is a challenging endeavor emotionally, physically, & financially.  It involves more tests, more meds, & more waiting.  They have endured so much & still desperately want a baby to love.  It takes a village to raise a child, & they need your help.  Every donation is appreciated & needed.  Please keep this precious family in your prayers as they continue on this journey.
