There was a child, no more than ten, passing through the Tom Baker cancer centre. I noticed him as I was going to see my brother in recovery there. His eyes gaped and rimmed red and black, with his hair nonexistent, while being pushed in wheelchair slumped, and short of breath. This is the image that haunts me, because there’s a 49/51 chance that little one is gone. I grew my hair to donate curly locks for these little ones to wear, but also I wanted to make their lives easier. I can’t do it one by one, so I’m shilling myself for the hope you plate to promote the growth of the donations to help future hearts to grow.
