Tyler “SharpHandJoe” Szalankiewicz is a longtime member of the Southeast Throwdown community and a familiar name to anyone who has spent time in Run The Se.T!. He has always been someone who shows up, competes, and supports the people around him.

Right now, Tyler is going through a difficult financial situation.

He has been without income since February while waiting on a decision regarding his disability under a new policy. During that time, expenses have continued to build, and he is doing everything he can to stay afloat with no clear timeline for when income will return.

He is currently facing urgent expenses including rent, car insurance, and a heavily negative bank balance. These are immediate needs that cannot be pushed off any longer.

This fundraiser is here to help Tyler stabilize and get through this gap. The goal is to cover essential expenses and relieve some of the financial pressure while he waits for his situation to be resolved.

We will also be hosting a charity stream on Wednesday April 29 through Southeast Throwdown to support him and bring the community together.

My name is Tyler Szalankiewicz, also known as SharpHandJoe. I am a U.S. Navy veteran and have been part of the fighting game community my whole life.

Right now I am dealing with serious health issues and waiting on a disability decision. My income has been on hold since February, and I am doing everything I can to stay afloat while I wait for my hearing in June.

I have been working on improving my health and staying positive, but this has been a difficult time. Any support truly means a lot to me.
