We're raising money to benefit New Start Community Garden (Shark Garden), and any donation will help make an impact.

On the night of April 17th, the Shark Garden greenhouse burned down along with all of the vegetable starts in it for the food bank garden and our fundraiser plant sale. Each year the Shark Garden grows over 2,000 pounds of culturally relevant, organic produce for the White Center Food Bank. That produce goes out to over 70,000 people in our community. Now, without the greenhouse and all of the vegetable starts, it will be so much harder to get all those crops going and it is a big setback for us in providing more food security for our neighbors.

We hope to raise funds to replace the greenhouse and the value of the plants, seeds, and supplies that were in it. Please consider helping if you can.
