We (Risalat, Ramazan and Neil, from the Global Shapers New York Hub), wanted to do something meaningful for our birthdays' in light of the COVID-19 crisis.
We are collectively launching a week long fundraising campaign to serve organizations helping communities and geographies directly impacted by the coronavirus. The campaign ends on Monday 18th at 12pm.

The funds will be divided between these three incredible nonprofit organizations:
BRAC BRAC has played a critical role in pulling people out of poverty in Bangladesh. Now with their amazing grassroots infrastructure, they’re launching a massive effort to try to make sure no one goes hungry. In a country of 160 million where so many are dependent on daily wages, the covid-induced economic shock has hit very hard, and the need is far greater than the amount of resources available. We Are All Human directs action to address urgent needs of the Hispanic community resulting from the impact of COVID-19. Actions will support recovery from the impact of COVID-19, including support at the health level, for Hispanics on the front line, and for Hispanic-owned small businesses, entrepreneurs, independent workers and those who have lost their jobs.

Breakthrough Atlanta is ready to serve our students this summer with food assistance for students and their families and counseling and referrals for support services. They’re also creating a high-impact, student-centered virtual summer program to help students recover from learning loss. $25 provides meals for a Breakthrough family for a day. $50 provides books and activity kits to help a student learn all summer long. $100 provides meals for a Breakthrough family for a week. $250 provides a student with a device, internet access, and tech support for virtual learning https://breakthroughatlanta.org
