Hello! This fundraiser is for my dear friend Shantel and her little boy arriving in just a short couple weeks. Times have been rough on everyone lately due to the pandemic and scarce jobs. Shantel works extremely hard and is determined to have all her ducks in a row before her little boy arrives. However sometimes you need a little push. On top of house repairs such as a broken toilet, septic services not being provided by her landlord, the ac being broken, and leaks throughout the house, this is not easy for her to financially prepare. She has roughly 2 weeks before her baby arrives and she’s going on maternity leave, so of course that makes it difficult to continue having income. Her boyfriend is on disability which is only $700 a month and not being paid enough as it is, really takes a toll especially on an expectant mother. I know the difficulties that are faced with being financially unable to pay bills, I don’t want her to have to worry while she’s home with the baby. She deserves the world and everything good in it. I know it would be a heavy weight lifted from her shoulders even if it was just enough for the following months rent. Giving back to those who make the world a better place is something that should happen regardless of circumstances and she deserves to be blessed during this time of absence from work.
