Hi my name is Kurt R. Covert; My daughter Shannon Lynn Covert died unexpectly on Thursday May 26, 2016 while working at the Five Points Correctional  Facility protecting the citizens of New York State. She left behind (2) beautiful children. I'm trying to raise enough money to help offset the cost of renovating an old (2) family house into a single family one. Shannon lived in this house with the children, so we don't want to disrupt their lives anymore by moving them out of it. Her younger brother (Shaun) has agreed to raise the children so the extra bedrooms and additional space are desperatly needed.  For anyone who know Shannon, she was the type of person who would do anything for another person. She would always be by your side even if it meant she had to give up something that she wanted to do. Making this project happen means the world to me as Shannon was my "baby girl" and her children mean the  world to me.
