Hi, I’m Shannon’s brother in law Jason and I am creating this fundraiser to help out my beautiful, caring awesome sister.

Those of you who know Shannon know that she is the most selfless, kind person out there. She has helped so many people (including my family) without any thought of herself.

She hasn’t been very public about her situation because she doesn’t really want the attention, but I am making this for her because she won’t do this.

She has been suffering from Fibromyalgia for the past decade and lives in constant debilitating pain. The pain and depression she is in due to this is heartbreaking. She has been running her own business (children’s gymnastics program) for over 20 years now and does everything on her own, from loading her heavy equipment in her truck , driving to the various schools and then unloading, setting up, running the class, then breaking down the equipment and loading it back up. It is truly amazing the amount of work she does with what she is going through. Lately her class sizes have gone down and she can barely make ends meet. She has the support of her family , but that can only help her temporarily with living expenses and food. Her fibromyalgia treatment costs upwards of $500 per visit and she just can’t afford it. She struggles to just get out of bed in the morning and make coffee. If she was able to get the treatments regularly along with the other medication not covered by insurance she would be doing better. Keep in mind fibromyalgia is not curable only partially treatable and always painful. Many people do not believe this is a real disease even though millions of people suffer with it Lady Gaga, Morgan Freeman and more personally Shannon Scott. We are currently investigating other treatment centers for Ketamine therapy that are more affordable and more effective than what she is currently trying. If you could see the burns on her back from laying on a heating pad almost 24/7 it would break your heart. I am just asking for help for someone I truly love and would do anything for (if I were rich she would be living with my family and we would take care of her 24/7, but until then). We are not on this planet for very long and it is a crying shame that she has to live on it suffering like she does when she could be enjoying it even just a little bit more with our help.
