Shane Patterson

Hey guys, as some of you know, my brother Shane Patterson is currently in final stage liver failure. This seems to have come out of nowhere as we are still unsure of the cause, but we ultimately know that he will need a liver transplant. We are taking steps to get him towards a full diagnosis, transplant, and recovery. Shane will be going to the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida on June 20th and will be required to be there for at least two weeks for extensive testing to find out the cause of his liver failure, as well as to get him onto a transplant list. Due to his condition, he took a leave of absence from his job at Schooners a month ago (early May) and does not know when he will be able to return to work. His wife, Mary is staying in Panama City while he is in Jacksonville to continue working, but their income alone isn’t enough to pay for their expenses. At this time, we do not know how long Shane will have to be on the transplant list including any other procedures that may need to be done.
