Hi, my name is Samantha and I am the chairperson for the Shandaken Parks and Recreations Committee. We are fundraising to help update our playground equipment to make them natural, more fun, safer, ADA compliant, and inclusive for our whole community. We have four parks with playground equipment and will begin with renovating the first playground at Glenbrook Park on Route 42.

We raised enough initial funding from this GoFundMe in 2023 to design a natural playground for Glenbrook that helped us to secure a large grant to purchase the playground equipment for this park and now we are ready to put this design into the ground!

Your donations will help us make playgrounds and park amenities we can take pride in and which complement the beauty of the Catskills.
