Shanagh’s VESA Volunteer Trip
Donation protected

This summer I will be volunteering with VESA in South Africa to take part in an important sustainable community development project.
As a student in my last year of university, I was intrigued by VESA’s work, and I jumped at the opportunity to sign up. Upon hearing of my acceptance into the program, I was overjoyed with the reality of this once in a lifetime opportunity.
I, as part of a group of volunteers, will work in conjunction with the villagers and the village chief in addressing the major issues faced by the village, such as a lack of fresh running water, dilapidated schools, and generally poor infrastructure. Your donation will help to facilitate the means for implementing a major community development project, which will encompass construction, in addition to educating the community on matters of conservation, sustainability, health/hygiene, and English proficiency.
Any donation, no matter how small, will help support me in reaching my goal of making a difference outside of my own community!
Thank you for taking the time to read about my volunteer trip and I hope you are able to donate to my cause.
