On Saturday April 1 2023 I will begin a bike-touring trip, solo & unassisted, from San Diego, CA to New Orleans, LA. 

I have never done anything like this before, but I’m super excited and every day I prepare and plan. 

The reason for this journey is to raise money and awareness for childhood cancer cures.

Once I arrive in Louisiana I will make my way north and on Saturday June 24 2023 I will shave my head, again :) with several others at a fundraiser event called “Bald on the Bayou” supporting St. Baldrick’s Foundation.   

But first, I need a bicycle. Which I finally got!
Thank you SO MUCH you lovely donors so far.
Now I need the $$$ to pay for it entirely. 

I also need gear for long distance riding, safety, camping, storing my camping gear, and general biking necessities.

I’m reaching out to you, my community, to help me get what I need to get on the road. 

Once I start my adventure I plan to document and share each day via social media: @Sha2NOLA and I’ll be posting updates as the next few months of preparation unfold.

I believe in my heart that this journey will change real lives and touch souls in a way that will bring so much light, peace, healing, and love into our humanity.
