I'm reaching out on behalf of someone incredibly special to me—a close friend, a proud veteran, and one of the kindest souls you could ever meet. She has spent her life serving others with strength and grace, but now she’s facing a heartbreaking struggle of her own.

A few years ago, she lost her beloved husband—the love of her life. Since then, she’s been trying to find her footing, moving from place to place, carrying her grief and doing her best to stay strong. Through it all, she’s held on to the things that matter most: her loyal dog and three cherished birds—her family, her comfort, her joy.

But just recently, tragedy struck again. A fire tore through everything she had left. In a matter of moments, she lost her home, her belongings, her memories. Everything... gone. All she was left with were the clothes on her back and the animals she was able to save.

She is now starting over from nothing, and while she would never ask for help herself, I know how deeply she needs it. She is a resilient, loving, and generous person who has been knocked down too many times. It’s time we help her stand again.
