Hi friends! As most of you know, I am a property manager at an apartment complex in Columbia, MO. I have recently had something pulling at my heart, and the Lord is asking me to help. I have a tenant that came to me in desperation last year needing a place to live. She was going through a divorce-leaving an abusive relationship. Thankfully, I was able to help. She has 2 kids, both with learning/mental health challenges as well as trying to understand their parents splitting up. This mother works full-time, takes kids to activities, goes to church and does all of the things, just like we supermoms do. She found out yesterday that she will have to pay her ex-husband child support because she makes $2/hr more than he does. She came to me explaining that she is going to have to break her lease to find a cheaper apartment. She has been doing uber on days that she doesn’t have the kids. She even went to a local grocery store for a part-time job and they said she was overqualified. She is in survival mode, and honestly I see my old self in her eyes. A lot of us know the struggle. She just wants to do right by her children.

I want to raise a bit of money to help with moving costs and fees associated with her rental leases, rent/utilities.

I know it’s crazy out there right now. We are barely hanging on and things are uncertain, but if you can donate ANY amount it will help her.

I want to ease her weary heart and mind and give her hope.
