Sewing for Soldiers

COVID has struck all of us this year and it has now impacted the holidays for so many. Our servicemen and women overseas are facing lockdowns from their families and their platoons as COVID restrictions continue to be implemented. How heartwarming would it be to send a soldier a stocking or other handmade item for the holidays to let them know that they are not forgotten? Even during some of the toughest times our country has faced, we are still supporting the men and women who serve our country so valiantly.
My cousin is stationed in Germany and after talking with his wife we thought it would be a great idea to send stockings with handwritten notes to the individuals who are locked down on the base. After learning how to sew during quarantine and having to miss the holidays with my own family, I thought that this was the perfect way to send some American love to our heroes.
Please donate if you can, anything helps as it will help purchase fabric, postage, greeting cards, and other sewing materials to make these handmade items. Between myself and my best friend Hannah we are hoping to churn out as many stockings/Christmas gifts as we can in the next several weeks! If you would like a special note added to your donation for a soldier or you have a particular gift you would like sewn, please let us know and we will happily try to accommodate that.
