GP Wedding Fundraiser - Sewa Sri Lanka Fund

Sri Lanka has been in distress since 2022 due to the severe economic crunch that has led to daily blackouts, shortage of fuel and domestic gas supply, as well as other essential goods. Sewa International is distributing necessary food supplies to economically challenged families in Sri Lanka. Sewa has provided a month's worth of groceries to 500 families in its first phase. It has targeted to reach out to 10,000 families.

Thousands of families have been forced to live in very difficult and stressful conditions. They need support during this challenging time, and your donations will go towards Sewa's Sri Lanka fund specifically.

Sewa International was established in 1997 as a registered non-profit trust, based on the Indian ethos of ‘Service before Self’ and “World is One Family”. Since its inception, Sewa International is relentlessly serving humanity in distress irrespective of caste, creed, color, religion, race or region.

Over the past decade, the transition has happened from providing support to short term disaster relief & rescue activities, towards more effective long-term rehabilitation and development projects in underserved areas.
