Seven Valleys may be a small town, but it is full of growing families, young children, and neighbors who care deeply about their community. That’s why we’re working together to build something special: an inclusive, ice cream-themed playground in the heart of the borough.

Inspired by Seven Valleys’ unique history as the birthplace of commercial ice cream, this playground will give local children a safe, welcoming place to play, explore, and connect — all within walking distance for many families. It will also create a gathering space where parents, grandparents, and neighbors can spend time together and build lasting memories.

Right now, families in Seven Valleys must travel 4–7 miles to reach the nearest playgrounds, often along roads without sidewalks or safe walking access. For many families, especially those with young children, that distance creates a real barrier to everyday outdoor play and community connection.

Our vision is to create a playground that is fun, accessible, and built for children of all abilities. Planned features include a large multi-slide climbing structure, an inclusive multi-person seesaw, a spinner bowls, interactive musical instruments, and a custom pretend ice cream cart station that celebrates the town’s sweet history.

More than just a playground, this project is an investment in the future of Seven Valleys. It will provide a free outdoor space for families, encourage healthy play and social development, and create a welcoming destination connected to the community and nearby trail system.
