As many of you know we’re living through an unprecedented time. To be frank and honest, Seven Grand San Diego has shuttered its door for the immediate future in accordance with the government’s wishes. What this means; our staff has been let go and encouraged to go on unemployment. This does not mean they are not apart of this family, just as you, our guests and friends, are a part of our family. As tipped employees we’re looking for ways to get them income in a time where their home away from away is closed.
Whiskey Society has been one of the most important and enjoyable celebrations for us as a team, and is a place to engage in what this digital world and our staff craves, community. We have no intention to stop. In a time where we can’t gather in person let’s go digital! This is the first of more live stream whiskey societies where we as people will be gathering online to listen, be together, and talk about something other than this pandemic. In my opinion whiskey and the bonds it creates are more powerful than COVID-19. Let’s hang out.
With Seven Grand closed, we’re asking for donations to help the staff that created this community and hope to bring some distraction to a day that is otherwise filled with uncertainty and anxiety. Please give what’s in your heart, tip us like you would if you were here, and we will be sharing it with the whole family.
