Hello Everyone,
Let me first start by saying what is your first thought when you think of or hear the name Kellie Hill? Was she a friend to you? A distant relative that kept in touch through the internet? Whenever I heard the name Kellie Hill. I would think of a woman that is known to be my mother.
My mother was born on November 5th, 1962. She was born to Kelly and June Hill. Her sibling also born to Kelly and June Hill, is Shannon Fernandez priorly known as Shannon Hill. Kellie had 3 children within in life. From oldest to youngest, Me (Courtney), Patrick being the middle child and then Victoria being the youngest. Kellie also has 2 grandchildren, Daymein Hill and Ka'Miyah Barron. Kellie also has the nephews, Christopher and Steven Yeaw and Cody Hill. Children of Shannon Fernandez. Kellie also had plenty of people that over the years, she had invited into her life as a family or adopted children. (As she always said). Whether it was an adopted daughter, a sister in christ or a second parent to her. She was loved by many.
Kellie most definitely lived a long life. Full of laughter and tears. That being said her health was not the best over the years. In 2015, she had been diagnosed with Ovarian cancer. Which had turned into a very long, dragged-out process. Lots of medical appointments, chemotherapy, radiation, several biopsies and some hospital stays. After what had seemed like 2 years of all that, she had gone into remission. Kicking cancer in the ass!
As we had thought that we were in the clear. Her health said otherwise. She ended up in the hospital back in October of 2022 for an infection in her legs and several other health concerns. She had been battling this infection for quite some time. As though I am not a doctor nor am I a nurse. I strongly do believe that the infection in her legs had taken over her body and when into her bloodstream. Causing a blood clot. Therefore causing a heart attack. Unfortunately, after several attempts with CPR, our precious Kellie on March 24, 2023, has passed on to be with her Father and Mother in Heaven.
This is truly unexpected for our family. We have come together and decided to reach out to all loved ones of Kellie for help. We are struggling with getting the funding together for putting Kellie to rest. She wanted to be cremated (just like her mother, June).
The enitre cost of cremation is estimated to be close to $1,500. Please know that anything helps. $5 or $25. Even a share of this GoFundMe would be gratefully appreciated.
Let this be for Kellie. Rest in Peace.
Thank you and God Bless.
