My name is Angel, My mission is provide for the less fortunate. I organize a non profit volunteer service "Angels Serving Iowa" my volunteers feed and provide for the homeless and community all year around. When individuals get placed in housing we provide furniture and household items we also assist with ID's and Social security cards to get job placement. My children and I started out volunteering at a local shelter in 2014, these shelters only allow so many people enter, that it leaves so many people on the streets . I couldn't bare seeing all those people in need turned away. I began seeking ways to get items for the people who did not have a place to stay. I started by buying food and personal hygiene items to hand out, but the cost became too much for me to handle on my own. I then started asking family and friends to look through their belongings for donations. I have children in need of books, families in need of clothing and food. I am seeking for donations since there has been a spike in numbers for homeless. My goal is $10,000 any amount donated would be greatly appreciated. I would love to thank all the Angels especially my children Michael and Mackenzie and anyone who donates.
