LOVE -- Food for Senior Citizens

Dear Friends and Colleagues,
 
At this moment of an unprecedented humanitarian crisis in history, one group of people in our society are particularly vulnerable—senior citizens. Physically, financially, and socially, they can easily fall into victims of the COVID-19 pandemic.  
 
            To share love, care, and empathy with every member in our human family, the TTU Chinese Faculty and Staff Association, Lubbock Chinese American Association, Lubbock Chinese Church, and TTU Chinese Student Fellowship, and TTU Chinese Student and Scholar Association have developed an initiative to support senior citizens. Our goal is to raise $10,000 and purchase 100 meals per day for senior citizens in Lubbock for two to three weeks. We want to stand behind our senior citizens.  
 
            We will partner with Lubbock Meals on Wheels Program (LMOW) and have a fundraising drive for our goal. If you support our joint efforts, please go to GoFundMe to chip in $10, $25, $50, or whatever amount you are willing to donate. All donations go directly to LMOW and stay in our local community.

More information about Lubbock Meals On Wheels Inc: Respecting The Dignity Of Every Human Being, No Matter Their Need Or Physical Condition, Lubbock Meals On Wheels Will Provide Nutritious, Home-Delivered Meals To Those Who Are Homebound, Elderly, Or Disabled. We Shall Seek To Break The Social Isolation Experienced By The Homebound By Providing Warm, Caring, Friendly Contact Through Our Volunteers.
