**GoFundMe Update: Thank You for Your Support**

Dear Friends and Family,

I wanted to take a moment to provide an update on our situation and express my heartfelt gratitude for all the positive energy and support we have received during this challenging time.

1. **Dad Update**: My dad is now home from his hospital stay. Unfortunately, he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, and we’ve learned that the radiation treatment has adversely affected his heart. We are doing our best to provide him with the care he needs.

2. **Gary**: Gary is also home now, receiving home care as he navigates end-stage liver disease. It’s been a tough journey for both of them, and life as we know it has changed dramatically. We are taking it day by day, not knowing what tomorrow may bring.

Alcoholism is a disease that requires more attention and support in our country. The funds raised through this GoFundMe will go toward Gary's care, therapy for the boys and me, and essential living expenses since Gary can no longer work.

I want to be honest; I’ve never been great at putting my feelings into words, but I truly appreciate the overwhelming support I received last week. Having my dad in one part of the hospital and my husband in ICU on the other side has been incomprehensible.

Additionally, two weeks ago, I was admitted to the hospital for what we thought was vertigo, and I learned that I have Addison's disease. This has added another layer of complexity to our situation.

Help Gary’s Family in Their Time of Need

Our dear friend Gary, a devoted husband to Kelly and a loving father of three wonderful young men, has always been a hard worker, dedicated to providing for his family. Gary worked for many years in the logistics industry, where he was respected for his dedication, expertise, and his ability to bring people together to solve any problem. His passion for his work was matched only by his love for his family.

Gary has been in the ICU for some time now, battling an incurable condition that has turned his and his family’s world upside down. Even during his illness, Gary’s commitment to his family never wavered. But the reality of his condition is one that no amount of strength or dedication can overcome. Gary is in liver failure. Now, his wife Kelly and their three boys are preparing for the most difficult chapter of their lives — a future without the heart of their family.

As his friends, we want to support Gary’s family during this heartbreaking time. Medical bills and everyday expenses have will add up and the family needs to be focused on spending precious moments together. We are asking for your help to ease this burden, so Kelly and the boys can concentrate on what truly matters.
