Sara is a Refugee from Eritrea and is separated from her only child. The father of my child is presumed dead after being deported back to Eritrea after being picked up as an undocumented immigrant in Sudan. I filed a Refugee Alien Relative petition 3 years ago, but it is still pending for approval, even though they (USCIS) list 10-12 month processing time. There is little hope this petition will go anywhere, because of the low number of those petitions being approved. So I am filing a "regular" family petition, which requires an Affidavit of Support (someone that will take financial responsibility for the child for the next few years) and I have someone that will sign the Affidavit of Support. It also requires filing fees, medical exam expenses, travel expenses, DNA testing and filing fees. So, I would be grateful if you were willing to help in the form of monetary donation.
