Hiking for children with SEND

Hello, Leah and Jaz here!

We have set up an inclusive holiday club for children with additional needs, we centre our sessions around connecting back into our bodies through the nature around us, animals and using our senses (especially through the soles of our feet). We believe that this strengthens our bodies and mind, creating more resilience, self-esteem, better wellbeing, social interaction, motor skills and lots more!

We have no funding… yet! But in the mean time we would like to raise some money to put towards our sessions so we can fund children who can’t afford to come, towards more resources and materials and a new sensory swing, because they really are the best fun!

In exchange for this we have decided to do a sponsored walk, Scafell Pike, the highest and most prominent mountain in England!

All donations will be going towards SENDsenses sessions. Giving back to the children who teach us so much, we have both got a huge passion for what we do, and we want to scream it from the top of a mountain!! Wish us luck, thank you.
