One moment, our sweet senior Jack was doing well. Then, suddenly, something was terribly wrong.

Jack began vomiting over and over- nine times in total- followed by severe diarrhea. Within a short period of time, he became so weak and lethargic that he could barely stand. We rushed him to the hospital immediately.

His bloodwork showed alarmingly elevated liver values, and the doctors also found on his X-rays a concerning mass-like area in his abdomen that needs to be investigated further with an ultrasound. Because of how sick Jack became, he immediately needed IV fluids, a vitamin injection, medications, and additional supportive care to help stabilize him while the doctors continue trying to determine what is causing this sudden decline.
