We opened the shelter and found the unthinkable: a senior cat had been left outside our doors overnight with a note saying her owner developed allergies and asthma and couldn’t keep her any longer.

Our intake is closed, but what were we supposed to do? Leave her outside?

This poor girl that we named Josie is absolutely terrified. She appears much older than the age written on the note, and she is extremely dirty, shaking, not eating, and has horrible teeth. We have no idea what else may be going on medically or how long she has been struggling.

She was left behind at an age when she needed her family the most. Now she has nobody but us. Please donate toward her medical care and help us give this terrified senior girl the chance she deserves.
