Dear SNGL Community,
We are proud to introduce another SNGL initiative that addresses access to clean and safe water, a daily challenge for many communities across Senegal.
Although there has been a growing supply of water, sanitation and hygiene in Senegal, we need to prioritize building more secure water sources and identifying the barriers and factors needed to achieve water security (World Bank, 2022).
Through SNGL, we are launching a Wells Project (NAME OF THE OVERALL PROJECT) aimed at providing sustainable access to clean drinking water in less developed regions of Senegal.
This project will focus on:
- Building water wells in communities with limited access to safe drinking water
- Educating local communities about sustainable and maintenance practices to improve their access to water
- Collaborating with local actors and strengthening ties with them for future projects Access to water is more than a basic need, it contributes to health and educational development.
By supporting this project, you are giving a way for people to be a part of the country’s development. This project will be implemented in collaboration with trusted local partners, and we will share regular updates on our Instagram page. We are deeply grateful for your continued support in empowering communities across Senegal. Together, we can improve access to clean water, one well at a time :)
