The Wood family will be traveling to Tizate Guatemala, which is outside Antigua,  this summer to support Global Shore minstry. 

Global Shore is a non-profit organization that believes in educating children, who otherwise wouldn't have the opportunity to learn.   Global Shore runs an elemantary school, a high school, and career development classes where students learn about the impact a life with Jesus Christ can have. They also build houses and other buildings to support the village of Tizate. 

We will be going to support the long term missionaries that serve in Tizate, as well as teaching English, running a Vacation Bible School, and constructing a new school building for the growing numbers of Guatemalan children.

Walt will be joining us, which means this will will mark our first family missions trip.  We feel called into missions as a family, so this will be excellent training for when God tells us to go.

Funds raised here will be used for flights, accommodations, and donations to the churches and school that we work with while we are there.
