Lamont is a 15 year old boy who is an A and B student who has been playing baseball since the age of 8. In the Beginning of April Lamont came down with flu like symptoms that were thought of possible seasonal allergies. Later on that day he started vomiting off and on. Tested for Covid; test came back negative. After our visit to the ER and several transfers to 4 different hospitals within 6 days we come to find out it’s Lamont’s heart that was working only 10-15%. A heart catheter and a device to help his heart pump was placed inside his heart today but this is just a temporary fix until the test and decisions are made by the Doctors of what the future will hold (mechanical device or heart transplant). The hospital is talking about weeks of being in the hospital. we’re asking for donations to help with the medical bills and everyday life expenses since the family has spent day and night by Lamont’s bedside.
