Sending our love to Madi ❤

Madi is my daughters very best friend. They are attached at the hip, they talk the same, they love all the same music, they even go to weird lengths to convince people they are sisters. People believe them too.
Madi is 13, she's in 7th grade at Snake River Jr High. She is an artist, this girl has serious skill. She is quiet, kind of shy until she feels comfortable around you. She is witty, and smart, and so fun to be around. She is kind and so polite, she loves adventure and is always up for just about anything. She is a great kid and my little family loves her dearly.

What started out to be a normal weekend for most, has flipped one family's world upside down. Madi thought she had the flu, my daughter said she has had a headache for over a week, her parents had taken her to the hospital earlier in the week, they ran some tests and sent them home to take tylenol, said they couldn't see anything. Thursday took a turn, Madi's mom came home from work, and rushed her baby back to the ER. Madi was unable to answer yes or no questions. Simple questions. At the ER they ran another series of tests, this time finding blood on her brain. Madi was life flighted to Primary Children's in Salt Lake City late thursday night. She has since undergone 2 brain surgeries, to remove infection and relieve presure, they are keeping her in a medically induced coma, and won't be waking her up for 24 to 48 hours. As many might know, this is a very scary situation for her family, for anyone that knows and loves Madi. The doctors are hopeful for a full recovery, though nobody can say quite yet how this ends. She is currently stable, and she has a fighting spirit, she's a very brave and tough little soul.
So what if, as a parent, you are faced with the choice of going to work, or to be with your baby while She is fighting in a hospital bed... Not even a choice right?... There is no force strong enough to keep you out of that hospital.... Every time she moves, you want to know, if she opens her eyes, you want to be there. And when they finally wake her up, her mom will be the first person she sees, and she will know that her mom never left her side.
My goal is to try and help ends meet for this family, who already has so much to stress and worry about. So they can support madi on her long road to recovery, who knows how long it will be till they are able to come home. Times are crazy, most of us don't even get to know our neighbors, but this is a chance to really do something good for a little girl that needs her mom, and a mom that desperately needs that little girl, and a dad and brother and sister who are waiting at home for their life to make sense again. I understand not everyone is able to donate but if you can, everything helps, if not please pray for our sweet Madi. Prayer is powerful.
