I have more information about my trip to Philly and my likely expenses, so I've lowered my goal in accordance with that information.

My name is Bruce Fealk.  I've been a life long Democrat and I can't even contain my excitement today.

I'm 62 years old and I've never been to a Democratic convention and I probably won't have the chance again.  

I've campaigned for Bernie in Michigan, Indiana, and Iowa and held debate watch parties, phone banked, volunteered at Bernie's rallies in Michigan.  

Michigan's 8th Congressional District elected me today to be the only male delegate representing Bernie in Philadelphia.

The money raised will be used for transportation, hotel, ($400/night), food and other expenses related to attending the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia July 25-29.

If I raise more than my goal I will donate any excess funds to Bernie's general election campaign or to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.  My sister died of breast cancer at age 41, so it's personal.  

I've decided to drive, so that's one of the reasons I've lowered my personal fundraising goal.

I have been a Democratic activist for several years and it is such an honor to represent Michigan and Bernie Sanders at the convention in Philadelphia.  Bernie is a once in a lifetime candidate.  

I will be eternally grateful if you can help me fund my trip to Philadelphia.
