Hi, I’m Annie—thank you for being here.

Representing Canada has been one of the greatest honours of my life, and I now have the opportunity to do it again in a new sport.

I’ve been selected for the Canadian National Deaf Golf Team and will be competing at theWorld Deaf Golf Championships in Barsebäck, Sweden this August.

Sport has always played a major role in my life. I previously represented Canada internationally in volleyball, competing at a high level for many years. That experience shaped my discipline, resilience, and identity as an athlete.

Golf had always been around, but it wasn’t until 2021 that I fully committed to the game—and it quickly became a passion. It challenged me in completely different ways and pushed me to grow both mentally and physically.

Now, I’ve earned the opportunity to represent Canada again—this time in golf. Competing at the World Deaf Golf Championships is both exciting and challenging, and I’m determined to give it everything I have.
